Getting Started with mivo

Welcome to mivo! Set up your account in just a few minutes and start with your first booking.

What you need

To get started with mivo, you need:

  • A free mivo account (Register now)
  • Basic information about your business (name, address, contact details)
  • Optional: Stripe account for online payments and Google account for calendar integration

Step 1: Create Account & Set Up Business Profile

After registration, set up your business profile:

  • Business name and description
  • Address and location
  • Contact details (email, phone)
  • Timezone and currency

Step 2: Create Your First Courses or Appointments

Create your first bookable offerings:

Available Booking Types

Courses

Fixed appointments with limited participant numbers (e.g., group courses, workshops)

Training Days

Flexible time slots for individual bookings (e.g., one-on-one coaching, consulting)

Continuous Events

Recurring events with automatic slot generation

When creating, you define:

  • Name and description
  • Duration and time slot
  • Price (optional with Stripe)
  • Maximum number of participants
  • Custom booking questions

Step 3: Activate Payments (optional)

Activate online payments with Stripe:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click on "Connect Stripe"
  3. Authorize mivo or create a new Stripe account
  4. Define which courses are paid

Stripe is optional. You can also use mivo without payment processing and handle payments manually.

Step 4: Synchronize Google Calendar (optional)

Automatically synchronize your bookings with Google Calendar:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click on "Connect Google Calendar"
  3. Authorize mivo for access
  4. Select the calendar to synchronize

Google Calendar integration prevents double bookings and keeps all your appointments in sync.

Step 5: Share Your Booking Link

Share your booking page with customers:

  1. Copy your personal booking link from the dashboard
  2. Share the link on your website, social media, or via email
  3. Customers can book directly – no registration required

How can I edit or delete courses?

Go to the dashboard, select the course, and click "Edit" or "Delete". Existing bookings remain intact.

Can I manage multiple locations?

Yes, create a separate business profile for each location or use tags for organization.

How does the waitlist work?

Activate the waitlist in the course settings. When a spot becomes available, interested parties are automatically notified.
